The Senior Recruitment Officer assists in overseeing all recruitment activities for the company; assists with the development and maintenance of procedures, guidelines and forms; plans recruitment timelines; reviews and approves applications; acts as a resource person for the recruitment functions of the company; and approves interview questions, skills test and writing exercises for recruitment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

• Responsible of sourcing candidates for all positions 
• Managing recruitment sourcing for vacancies.
• Searching for and adapting recruitment best practice such as advertising channels, search and headhunting services and recommending implementation of activities that best fit the company.
• Arranging for job advertisements for employment opportunities. Screening job applicants based on manpower requirements, job descriptions and specifications by evaluating applicant qualifications, applicant experience, education, training, and skills.
• Developing and determining sources - local and international - for recruitment to meet the company needs.
• Arrange interview appointments for professional level and above candidates.
• Conduct reference checks on possible candidates
• Conduct first interviews for shortlisted candidates
• Inform unsuccessful applicants
• Maintaining and reviewing contracts with recruitment agencies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Preparing employment offers and required documentation to new hires in accordance with the company’s procedures.
• Maintaining the recruitment tracking system
• Managing and maintaining a Recruitment Tracking System to provide up-to-date information at all times.
• Overseeing the candidates joining formalities till the transfer of residency.
• Overseeing overseas hires formalities 
• Any other duties/ projects assigned by HR Manager from time to time.
• Reviews interview questions; offers suggestions to clarify ambiguous inquiries
• Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place

 

SUPERVISION REQUIRED/GIVEN:
• Receives general supervision from the Head of HR
